Less than two weeks ago, the "Yellow Diamonds" singer was promoting a completely different look. The singer unveiled very different Twitter pictures last month when she unveiled long gray locks. Wearing what appeared to be a wig, the singer said that grey is the new black.

"New color: ice grey-ish. Call it #Brrr," the 25-year-old singer wrote in one post. "Grey is the new black! Blondies, it's quiet for y'all!"

The star even offered up a song to go along with her new look.

"'Everything feels like touchdown on a rainy day' #brrr," she wrote quoting James Blake's song "Life Round Here."

Previous looks for the singer including the long, wavy locks that she first appeared in the music scene with, a deep black bob that quickly became a trendy new looks for others, and dying her hair honey blonde. Taking in her most recent look, fans raved about the new, classy look.

"She looks lovely," one fan noted on the Huffington Post blog.

Fans were less complimentary about the singer's grey locks, suggesting that she was attempting to look like a "Granny." One fan did suggest an "X-Men" theme, but also complained that the look was "tired."

"You're always beautiful, boo, but it makes you a little tired, I find. You make me think at Halle Berry in X-Men," the fan prompted on the singer's Twitter.
