Rihanna's and Calvin Harris' 'This Is What You Came for' Another Smash Hit?

Once more, Calvin Harris and Rihanna have proven their winning combination with the new single, "This Is What You Came For," which the Scottish disc jockey just dropped. The single featured Rihanna doing the vocals.

This is not the first time the two have collaborated on a project. In 2011, they released "We Found Love" and in the next year, "Where Have You Been," both to resounding success. The collaborations were a 10-million-selling, with the first one hitting number one on the Billboards charts. "We Found Love" had been the longest-running (10 weeks) single that year and considered Rihanna's most successful. It won a Grammy for Best Short Form Music Video in 2013. Harris had written and produced it.

The 2012 partnership landed number five on the Billboards, which they co-wrote and co-produced. It had also received much attention, getting a nomination as Best Pop Solo Performance in the following year of its release.

After five years since their last team-up, this new track has people thinking it may receive the same acclaim as the first two top hits they produced. "This Is What You Came For" finds Rihanna singing about a woman who knows how to get---and give---attention: "Baby this is what you came for. Lightning strikes every time she moves …"

The duo had also performed during Harris' closing set at the first weekend of the Coachella.

In the meantime, the song had been teased some weeks back by Taylor Swift, who is dating the DJ. The pop star had posted an Instagram picture of herself dressed with the song's art on her jacket. After the song had been dropped, she proceeded to give her stamp of approval, being a musical phenomenon in her own right, giving compliment to the track, by posting three photographs from a Gigi Hadid party she attended and captioning those using lyrics from the song.
