After Archie submits his father to the emergency room, he immediately begins talking to the police about what happens to his father, still wearing his bloodied letterman jacket. By his side will be Jughead (Cole Sprouse), who can help him solve the mystery of who is the masked man that wanted Fred dead later on.

In another photo, it seems that Jughead already reported his information to Betty (Lili Reinhart). Then, the two meet with Veronica (Camila Mendes) and appears to talk about what happened to Archie's father and what details they know about the incident.

Kevin (Casey Cott) will also show support to Archie by being at the hospital. However, Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) can also be spotted at the hospital, but it seems that she has something up her sleeve again.

Meanwhile, there are speculations that Fred will live through his fatal experience at Pop's.

Riverdale shared a short clip of Perry on Twitter talking about the special father-and-son bond between Archie and Fred.

The post was captioned, "There's a special bond between father and son. See Luke Perry in #Riverdale, returning October 11 on The CW," which fans understood as Fred is alive and well and will be in season 2.

"Riverdale" season 2 is set to premiere on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
