Robert Pattinson is reportedly scheduled to partake in his first televised interview since Kristen Stewart, his girlfriend of three years, publicly admitted to cheating on him with a married man.
The 26-year-old "Twilight" star will appear on ABC's "Good Morning America" for a sit down interview on Wednesday, Aug. 15 it has been revealed.
"GMA" confirmed Pattinson's first post-cheating-scandal interview via an announcement on Monday on its program, according to RadarOnline.com.
The news follows reports that Pattinson has been hiding out at his "Water for Elephants" co-star Reese Witherspoon's ranch in Ojai, Calif., since moving out of the Los Angeles home that he and Stewart, 22, once shared.
Pattinson was allegedly spotted at The Deer Lodge which is also in Ojai, Calif., where onlookers claim that the actor seemed to be "in good spirits."
"I've been told by several people that Robert Pattinson was here enjoying the music with his friends. He seemed in good spirits," a Deer Lodge employee told RadarOnline.com. "I wasn't on that night so I didn't personally see him, but several others did."
A fellow patron took to social networking site Twitter to describe Pattinson's behavior during his night out with friends.
"He wasn't moping and the girls were definitely just his friends. The girls were drunk and literally danced on the floor," the source tweeted as reported by Radar.
"The girls were nice. I stood next to them at the bar. He wasn't drunk. Just taking in the scene. Smoked next to him outside," another tweet read.
Stewart was photographed intimately hugging 41-year-old Director Rupert Sanders, who directed her latest film "Snow White and the Huntsman." The close embrace led to speculation that the pair was having an affair, which prompted public admissions from both of them.
"I'm not sure they'll be able to recover from this," a source told People.com, adding that Pattinson "is heartbroken and angry."
