Rob Pattinson may have initiated Kristen Stewart's unfaithful ways, according to a new report, which states that the actor was the first to initiate a too-friendly relationship with a work associate.
A new source has revealed that Kristen Stewart may have cheated on Pattinson, her boyfriend of at least three years, because she felt threatened by his relationship with Emilie de Ravin. Pattinson and Ravin met while filming "Remember Me" in 2009, a chick flick which included dozens of romantic scene between the pair.
While filming, Ravin admitted that part of the reason she took the role was because of the great chemistry she had with Pattinson.
"[Rob's] a lovely guy. I read the script three weeks before they started shooting. I flew to New York to test with Rob and we immediately got along. We had instant great chemistry, which is not an easy thing to come by," Ravin said according to Hollywood Life.
Long after the filming ended, however, Pattinson and Ravin continued to have a close relationship and became good friends. At the time Pattinson and Stewart were living in different states, which caused strain on the relationship.
"[Kristen] found it difficult to cope with Rob being close friends with another woman. As their friendship grew, she became more envious to the point that she would be very upset. They struck up their friendship when they were working away in New York and Kristen was still living in Los Angeles," a source told Hollywood Life.
Despite having a close relationship and "great chemistry," the source added that nothing had ever happened between the two.
"Nothing romantic ever happened between them, but it didn't make Kristen feel any better about them being so close. They would socialize together away from the set too. They would spend their evenings together in bars and restaurants while they were in New York," the insider alleged.
It may not have helped that at the time of filming, pictures of Pattinson and Ravin rolling around in the grass and kissing were also revealed.
