Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Take Part in ALS Ice Bucket Challenge for Charity

Since the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge was issued weeks ago, many celebrities and athletes have taken part in it for a good cause. As of Sunday morning, the ALS association reported a whopping $70.2 million in donations, proving that people can make a difference while having fun at the same time.

Among those who have taken the challenge are "Twilight" stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who participated separately for the cause.

Pattinson was challenged by his good friend Zac Efron, and the video immediately went viral when it was posted on social media sites. Pattinson was on location and couldn't get his hands on a bucket, so he improvised on the challenge, according to Celebrity Dirty Laundry.

Armed with some ice cubes and a hose, the actor dumped the pot of ice cubes on his head while someone repeatedly sprayed him with the hose. Another person appeared to be throwing ice cubes and red plastic cups at Pattinson. At the end, he nominated Marilyn Manson, Mia Wasikowska, and Guy Ritchie to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

Meanwhile, Stewart gamely took on the challenge with Nicholas Hoult and Scott Fahrendorf. Putting their own spin on the challenge, the three of them stuck their heads in buckets full of iced water for about 10 seconds, before pouring the contents over their heads. Hoult and Fahrendorf then grabbed a large container of iced water and dumped it over Stewart's head. The actress appeared to be very composed despite the cold, and didn't utter a single shriek of protest.

Afterwards, Stewart then nominated singer Jenny Lewis and actress Brie Larson, while Hoult nominated Craig Roberts, Joe Dempsie and Colin Firth.

The "Clouds of Sils Maria" actress also had an important message for everyone.

"In good faith you must believe that all of this was done with dirty bath water, please be considerate with California water conservation," she said.
