Robert Pattinson recently moved into singer Britney Spears' old home, three months after his split from Kristen Stewart.
The $3.7 million Beverly Hills mansion, which was previously also home to Gwen Stefani and Hilary Duff, reportedly features 5-bedrooms; 6-bathrooms; an oak sports bar and a swimming pool and spa. Pattinson, 27, recently moved out of Stewart's Los Feliz neighborhood in a bid to move on and focus on work however the move is said to be "temporary."
"It is extremely temporary, it is just convenient for him while he is filming his movie and taking meetings," a source told HollywoodLife.com.
"Its a great central location and also very safe. So Kristen [Stewart] might be mad that he moved away, but its only about 9 miles away and he isn't going to be there forever," the source explained.
In May the "Twilight" co-stars, who began dating in 2008, ended their four-year relationship due to ongoing trust issues stemming from the actress' 2012 affair with a married man. Pattinson reportedly moved to Beverly Hills particularly to get over Stewart, 23, however a source claims that the British actor is struggling emotionally.
"Rob is missing Kristen like crazy. He thought by moving to Beverly Hills and hanging out with his new friends it would take his mind off Kristen, but it has done the complete opposite," a source said. "His distractions are only making him miss Kristen more."
Stewart, who is said to be desperate to reconcile with Pattinson, is was reportedly "crushed" after learning that the "Maps To The Stars" actor had moved away.
"Kristen is crushed that Rob felt it was necessary to move to Beverly Hills. She feels like this was his way of saying, 'I can't be bothered with you anymore.' Los Feliz was their home for years. It has a completely different vibe than Beverly Hills," a source said.
"Rob told Kristen he was moving, but Kristen didn't really think he would go through with it," the source explained. "Of course, she's sad. She's heartbroken. If she could get back together with Rob, she would do it in a heartbeat."
