However, looking at their results, they have not been as impressive as expected as they have only won three of their last six games. They settled for draws against Inter Milan, Bologna and Atalanta, and their most recent contest ended in a big 3-2 win over Torino.
Now, they are trying to get three important points that can cut Napoli's lead down to two points in their final league clash this campaign.
On the other hand, Napoli has slipped a few games which resulted in them losing their lead, with the team losing two of their last four games against Udinese and Inter Milan.
However, they did make up a bit with big wins over Hellas Verona and a 6-0 thrashing of Bologna in their most recent games.
Both teams will find it extremely difficult to catch current league leaders Juventus, who are 12 points ahead of Napoli at the moment so these two teams are battling for the automatic spot of the UEFA Champions League next season.
However, they should not be too relaxed as only a few points behind them are Inter Milan who are also trying to make the most of their schedule to possibly unseat one of the two teams above them at the moment.
