Romeo Beckham has launched his modeling career with a Burberry campaign this week.

The second-eldest child of David and Victoria Beckham is featured in an advertisement wearing dress slacks and a Burberry signature trench coat.

At just 10 years old, Beckham has kicked off what is sure to be a successful career as a male model as he follows in his father's footsteps. The soccer star and dad has modeled for H&M, among others.

The jubilant, gap-toothed Beckham was photographed by Mario Testino while smiling broadly- something his mother Victoria is seldom seen doing. The fashion designer and mom of four is well known for her pout.

Burberry chief creative officer Christopher Bailey said Romeo "was a joy to work with and really stole the show," to Vogue U.K.

"This season's campaign lights up with the infectious energy of an amazing young cast of old and new Burberry family," said Bailey. "We had such fun shooting the campaign and I think that comes through in the images, which really reflect the upbeat spirit of the collection."

It comes as no surprise that Romeo has entered the fashion world. His mother once explained to Harper's Bazaar that her son loved clothes.

"We had dinner last night and Romeo wore a suit with a little shirt and tie," explained the founder of Victoria Victoria Beckham. "That's what he would wear every single day, he's so into fashion."

Furthermore, Beckham noted that unlike his older brother Brooklyn and younger brother Cruz, Romeo liked learning about her fashion label.

"The other boys are all about going to the beach," Beckham told Harper's Bazaar. "He's not interested. He's like, 'I want to go work with Mummy,' and he sits there going through the collection, feeling the fabrics, giving his opinion. He loves it."

The Beckhams have been married since 1999 and also share 1-year-old daughter Harper in addition to their three sons.

The Burberry ads are not the first time Romeo has made headlines. In October, the 10-year-old was photographed with a tattoo on his collarbone- a replica of the "Harper" his father David got after Harper's birth. The temporary tattoo made waves with the media, with many first assuming the ink was real.
