Ronda Rousey Rumors: MMA Fighter to Meet Archrival Cris 'Cyborg' Justino in WWE Ring?

Cris "Cyborg" Justino has expressed her willingness to face Ronda Rousey in a match, not in the UFC's (Ultimate Fighting Championship) octagon, but inside the WWE's (World Wrestling Entertainment) ring.

While some Rousey fans got excited over the pronouncement of the MMA ( mixed martial arts) fighter's longtime coach Edmond Tarverdyan that there is a possibility for his prized student to engage in a superfight with Justino, some couldn't help but raise their eyebrows. True enough, those pessimistic about the supposed superfight have been vindicated over what they thought and felt about Tarverdyan's statement as Justino shots down the possibility in a recent interview.

However, just because Justino has said that an MMA bout between her and Rousey is out of the question, as it would be better for her archrival to face Miesha Tate instead at this point in her career, it doesn't mean that there is no more chance for her and Rousey to engage in a showdown of force.

"I'm in another stage of my career. I wanted to fight Ronda when she was psychologically well and confident... Now, if she wants to make a good fight for the fans, we can make it at WWE. It would fit perfectly (for her) to go to Hollywood, and for me (it) would be another challenge in my career," Justino said in a recent interview.

Talks about Rousey ending her MMA career in favor of WWE have been going around for quite a while already, but neither the MMA fighter nor WWE has made a confirmation.

The controversial female MMA fighter was recently spotted at the final of the Mae Young Classic in Las Vegas to support her friend Shayna Baszler, who went up against and lost to Kairi Sane. When asked about her supposed transfer to WWE, though, Rousey refused to comment.

"I don't want to be the kind of person that comes to support her friend and then talks about herself all night. It's all about her," Rousey said.
