Salma Hayek Enjoying 'Privileged' Lifestyle With Billionaire Husband

Actress Salma Hayek, enjoys the privileges that come with being extremely wealthy, according to a recent interview with Allure.

Hayek, already a rich Hollywood actress, acquired the mega-rich lifestyle when she married her French billionaire husband Francois-Henri Pinault.

“I never understood the point of being privileged if you don’t get to have the privileges,” said Hayek in the September issue of Allure.

Hayek takes her 4-year-old daughter Valentina with her while traveling, and lives a life most people in the current economic climate can only dream of.

“Like, people who won’t take their kids to an expensive restaurant, or wont travel with them, or make them pay for everything at a really young age,” said Hayek to the magazine. “I think it’s important that kids have responsibilities and understand the value of things, but I think it’s great I get to travel the world with my daughter.”

The actress’s daughter collects $50,000 a month from a trust fund her father set up.

Hayek is also famous for her looks which have not been simple to maintain over the years according to the actress.

“My career has given me a lot of experience to be under pressure of having to be beautiful, and having to look for tricks to make it work,” said Hayek to Allure, who also states that the she created Nuance, a skincare beauty line that CVS launched this summer.

The actress spoke about Nuance to the Daily News recently.

“I wanted to create a line of premium beauty products that were both effective and affordable using the ingredients and knowledge passed down to me from my grandmother,” said Hayek. “My partnership with CVS/pharmacy allowed me to be truly involved in every aspect of product development, bringing my vision to life in making a line that is available to all women.”
