Salvador and Boxing? Find Out What the Connection Is Here
So, what do Salvador and boxing have in common? (No, it's not a trick question!) Well, word on the street is that two-time world champion boxer, Paulie Ayala, will be walking out to Salvador's song, "Montana," from their self-titled debut, as he heads into the ring to attempt to capture his third world title. The fight will be held Saturday, November 16th in Las Vegas. Ayala picked the song after taking 40 kids to Discovery Camp this summer and watching them win a talent contest using the song. "I know the song will touch them, too, as I'm walking out to the ring," says Ayala. You can watch the match go down (and hear some great Salvador music) on HBO pay per view. Ayala's opponent for the fight will be former WBC champ Erik Morales.
