The teaser shows part of the Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 with the tagline "The Grandest Ever Coming Soon."

The Galaxy Grand 3 would be the fifth major phone in the lineup.

Early leaks of the phone's dimensions indicate it will be similar to the Galaxy Grand 2. It is expected to have a screen size of 5.25 inches and also a resolution of 1280x720.

The phablet smartphone is also expected to feature a 1.2 GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage.

The specs of the new Galaxy Grand 3 would offer a slight upgrade over the Galaxy Grand 2 with its 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor.

The new device would also offer a more substantial upgrade in terms of its cameras. The Galaxy Grand 3 features a 13-megapixel rear camera paired with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The pairing is superior to the 8 and 1.9-megapixel rear and front-facing cameras of the Galaxy Grand 2 respectively.

Other features the phone is expected to have include a microSD slot and Dual SIM capabilities.

It will run the Android 4.4.4 Kitkat system unless it is launched after the Galaxy S6. If the device is released after the Galaxy S6, the device could come with the Lollipop system.
