Samsung Galaxy J7 Specs, Release Date: Korean Company Unveils Smartphone With Front LED Flash, 5.5-Inch 720p Display
Korean manufacturer Samsung has just recently announced a brand new midrange device that is aimed at the Chinese market.
According to a report by GSM Arena, the device has some decent specs and nifty features, which should make it a good deal for Android fans in the huge Asian market.
Dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy J7, the Android-powered device is powered by a Snapdragon 615 chipset, a 5.5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution, and a 3,000mAh battery. In the report, the device will cost around CNY 1,798 or around $290 in China.
However, the Galaxy J7 was not alone.
In the report, Samsung also unveiled another device that has a smaller display of 5 inches, but packs the same 720p resolution. The Android smartphone also packs a slightly lower-end Snapdragon 410 chipset compared to the J7's Snapdragon 615, and a lower capacity 2,600mAh battery. This version is said to cost about CNY 1,398 or $225.
While the Samsung Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J5 have different specs, they are mostly identical in other specs. Both devices feature a 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in memory, a microSD card slot, and Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
Other specs that both devices share include 4G LTE connectivity, dual-SIM compatibility, a 13MP primary camera, and a 5MP front shooter that is accompanied by a front-facing flash.
Both Samsung phones will reportedly hit the market this week.
