Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date, Specs and Pricing Rumors Review: Big Improvement From Note 3

Rumor has it that Samsung's next flagship Android device will be the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It will have a 5.7-inch, 4K screen integrated with a Retina scanner and a UV sensor, and is strongly-speculated to arrive with metallic outer construction.

Other sources pointed out that Samsung Electronics might reveal the official release date of the Note 4 probably after Unpacked event which is reported to be held simultaneously in Berlin, Beijing, and New York City this coming September 3.

IBTimes said that buyers will expect far more superior specs than that its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 3.

Under the hood, the Samsung phablet will either wield the 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chip or an octa-core Exynos 5433 (composed of four 1.3GHZ Cortex-A53 and four Cortex-A57 cores), this is according to the AnTuTu benchmark listings.

It has also been rumored that with coming of the purported Android 4.5/5.0 update codenamed "Lolipop," the smartphone will probably arrive with the mentioned latest software.

When it comes to the design, there are mixed reports on to how the Galaxy Note 4 will look like.

The Korea Times has said that there will be two models of the device – one will have a curved OLED display while the other, a flat OLED display.

Wall Street Journal, on the other hand, mentioned of a flexible screen display that will be available for premium versions.

The smartphone's camera will also either come in a 16MP or 12MP capacity, but there are speculations that it will now integrate optical image stabilization (OIS) system, an improved autofocus feature, and a dual-LED flash.

The phone will also be available either in 16, 32, or 64GB memory with 4GM of RAM and a microSD card slot to house up to 128GB of extra-memory.

There's still no leaked information as how the Galaxy Note 4 will cost but PC Advisor said that their hunch will be around £550 and £600.
