Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Release Date, Specs and Price Rumors: What Features Will Be Launched?
Samsung is expected to be bringing in strengthened specs later in the year when it debuts the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with higher quality features compared to its predecessor.
Rumors have escalated Samsung may release its next generation phablet in late 2015 with its Samsung Galaxy Note 5, expected to feature as many specifications as the Japanese electronics conglomerate can include.
Samsung may be upping the ante on super AMOLED technology from the Galaxy Note 4 and prepping the Galaxy Note 5 with 4K resolution. The 4K display technology, rumored to also be included in the Galaxy S7 smartphone handset when it launches in 2016, is set to go mainstream for a majority of devices within the year. This means, users are likely to see the Galaxy Note 5 sporting 4K resolution in a 5.9 inch phablet.

One of the improvements Samsung is likely to visit on their upcoming flagship device will be a suitable battery to go with its more advanced resolution. With a 4K screen eating up more battery life, users may expect a more powerful 4,000 mAh cell to increase the Galaxy Note 5's power by as much as 20 percent.
According to the team working on projects involving PC Oculus Rift VR, the Galaxy Note 5 will feature Virtual Reality functionality to make it a perfect companion for the VR headset, and with Samsung having earlier unveiled wireless charging capabilities for its Galaxy S6, users should expect the Galaxy Note 5 phablet to sport this capability, as well.
Gadget analysts are suggesting the Galaxy Note 5 may have Samsung's first ever 20MP rear facing camera, and a 5MP front shooter. With Samsung's rival Apple heavily promoting its Apple Watch's Force Touch technology, Samsung may be beefing up its devices' TouchID function, and adding a higher end retinal scanning security capability into the bargain.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is expected to be available in stores by the fourth quarter of 2015, and while no price point information has been leaked so far, speculations run on a non-contract retail price of between $900 to $1,000 when the Galaxy Note 5 hits the market.
