Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G Release Date Set for March

T-Mobile announced today that it will make the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G smartphone available to its subscribers sometime in March via press release.

"T-Mobile USA Inc. and Samsung Telecommunications America, the No. 1 mobile phone provider in the U.S., today confirmed the upcoming March availability of the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G exclusively from T-Mobile," reads the release.

This new Samsung device will be the latest addition to the Galaxy S line of products and will become the carrier's newest fast 4G smartphone to run on T-Mobiles HSPA+42 network. It will provide users with the ability to browse the web faster than people usually do with their average home connection, according to the company.

"T-Mobile's newest 4G smartphone offers a variety of features and applications to help consumers be entertained and have access to the information they need when they need it," continued T-Mobile in the press release.

The Galaxy S Blaze will allows its owner to take full advantage of entertainment features such as streaming movies on Netflix, watch TV on-demand, or even download a movie or show on the Samsung Media Hub.

Another impressive feature to be included on the device is a TeleNav GPS Navigator that provides users with hand-free voice-guided turn-by-turn driving directions and real-time traffic alerts full-color 3-D moving maps and local alerts.

The Blaze 4G also comes with a preloaded customized version of the Yelp mobile application that allows users to save profiles so preferences can be accessed with one touch in any area of the country.

Specifications on the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G include a Snapdragon S3 dual-core 1.5GHz processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 3.97-inch Super AMOLED display, 5-megapixel rear shooter and a 1.3-megapixel front camera.

The smartphone is expected to land at T-Mobile retail stores and select dealers sometime in late March. It will cost $149.99 with a new two-year service agreement.
