The Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 4.1, JellyBean update will start rolling out in more countries next month.

Samsung's website in Ukraine revealed this information earlier this week. The site also confirmed that the software update will roll out on the Galaxy Note around the same time.

Some countries have received the update even sooner as the software upgrade is now available in Spain.

This update is different from the ROM that was leaked a few months back and runs JellyBean with a January 2013 build date.

JellyBean brings the new TouchWiz Nature UI to the Galaxy S2, finally updating Samsung's old version that has been on the smartphone since its launch in 2011.

Performance improvements such as expandable and actionable notifications and Google Now are also now available with the software update.

Samsung also confirmed that it will be rolling out the Android 4.1, JellyBean update for the Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy Tab 7.7.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus with Android 4.1.2, JellyBean pre-installed was confirmed for release earlier this month.

Samsung will launch the beefed up version of its wildly popular handset in the near future and it will come with Android 4.1.2, JellyBean out of the box.

The device will be powered by a Broadcom chipset with a dual-core Cortex-A9 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB RAM. It will also come with the same WVGA Super AMOLED Plus screen as the original Galaxy S2 that launched in 2011.

Other specifications on the Galaxy S2 Plus include an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, a 2-megapixel front camera, 3G connectivity, Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi, 8GB of built-in storage, and a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
