Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1.2, JellyBean Premium Suite Part 2 Video Release

Samsung has released the second part of the Galaxy S3 Premium Suite hands-on video.

The video basically shows off some new features that will be added to the smartphone once it receives the Android 4.1.2, JellyBean update in the near future.

One of the new features that comes with Premium Suite on the S3 is Page Buddy, which allows users to set their phones to recognize when the earphone jack is in use so it can automatically bring them to their music.

There will also be something called The Contextual Menu, which will let users see their most frequently used apps first. And with another feature called Contextual Tag, photos that are taken with the handset will be tagged with the date, location and weather.

Other enhanced features include Multi-Windows that allow S3 users to multi-task by running two applications at the same time in two equal windows. Auto Share Shot allows users to automatically share photos and videos by tapping other devices that come with NFC (near field communications) capabilities. Reader Mode lets users control the size of the text on their phone and to share it, and the new Facebook Lock Ticker will let users view their Facebook news feeds on their lock screen.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1.2, JellyBean update began rolling out this week to the international version of the smartphone.

The update brings many new features and bug fixes. It is available through Samsung KIES and OTA (over-the-air).

Samsung also released a status page for this Android 4.1.2 roll out, which shows what countries it is currently available in.

The list reveals that the update can now be accessed in Poland and will be coming to other countries in the near future. The Galaxy S3 update in Poland is the version on the carrier known as XEO.
