Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4 Turn Into Laptop with New Accessory

The Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 could be turned into a small laptop with the new Migoal's TransMaker accessory.

The company is offering two different versions of this new Transmaker for each device. Both come with no RAM, processors or internal storage, however, it does have its own built-in battery.

The two versions it comes in include a 10.1-inch model with 1280 x 800 resolution and an 11.6-inch version with a full 1080p resolution. The device features a dock for the smartphone and mirrors its display onto the larger one. The dock is located on the back of the screen and it looks just like a MacBook in terms of colors and design.

Migoal is a Chinese company that hopes to excite consumers with this new product. The accessory is not available yet and pricing information for it also has not been released.

Anyone who is interested in the new Transmaker could visit Migoal's website and leave their name, email and country of residence and the company will contact them once it is available in their area.

Migoal is expected to debut the new Transmakers for the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 at this year's IFA.

Another company known as ExoTablet offered a similar product called the Transphone. This device combined a smartphone and a tablet in a much different way than Samsung did with the Galaxy Note.

The Transphone is a smartphone with a 3.5-inch screen that came with a 7-inch tablet dock that enhanced the overall experience of the device. However, it did not fare too well with the public.

Migoal's Transmakers has a better shot since it implements one of the world's most popular smartphone lines instead of having its own separate transforming handset.
