Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE Model Now Available on T-Mobile

The Samsung Galaxy S3 with LTE connectivity is now available through T-Mobile.

This version appeared on Bluetooth SIG back in December, and can now be purchased through the carrier for $69.99 with 24 monthly payments of $20. It can also be bought up front for $549.99. This new model will also replace the non-LTE Galaxy S3 model on T-Mobile's line-up of smartphones.

Carriers have also been releasing the latest software updates for the handset as Verizon rolled out its Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1.2, JellyBean update for customers last month.

The rather large upgrade brought many new features to the device along with some new problems. Verizon customers have reported that they have been experiencing severe issues with 4G LTE since performing the update on their smartphones.

Sites such as Android Authority recommend not downloading the update until these problems are fixed. Some of these users who are complaining are only getting one or two bars on 4G LTE, and their data speeds have slowed to a crawl.

A factory reset will not correct this issue either. Most users will have to wait for Verizon and Android to fix the problem themselves.

With the update, the smartphone now has features that were first released for the Galaxy Note 2 including multi-window multitasking and multi-screen. It will also have S Beam's Auto Share Shot along with some bug fixes, and other features that can be seen in the company's official change-log for the Galaxy S3.

The NFC feature has been improved with the update, as it will now be easier to turn on. Burst shot will not be the default setting on the stock camera application and a web browsing issue that caused the S3 to reset has also been corrected.
