A Facebook user posted on Samsung Lebanon's wall this week inquiring about the release of the Galaxy S4 and received a big hint on when the smartphone will officially launch.

"Hey, is there any news for the Samsung Galaxy S4 release," wrote Anthony Ghattas on Samsung's page.

Samsung replied saying that the Galaxy S4 will not be released any time before May 2013.

This information must be taken with a grain of salt as statements made on Samsung's Facebook pages are not always 100 percent accurate.

Samsung also issued a response later on that clarified what it mean by its first statement.

"What we said is only trivial since all Galaxy S series are released between late April and Early May, yet there's no way for anyone to know the exact release date," said Samsung.

The Galaxy S4 specs have been kept under wraps for the most part, but a new rumor has surfaced which states that the handset will come with its very own S Pen.

For those unfamiliar with the S Pen, it is a stylus-like accessory found on the Galaxy Note 2 and its predecessor.

This latest rumor comes from a popular Korean site known as Enuri.

The site stated that the Galaxy S4 will be the first handset in the series to feature the S Pen and its accompanying functionality as Samsung hopes to unite its Note series with the Galaxy S4.

The possibility of this happening seems unlikely, but the Enuri claims to have received a confirmation of this information from a Samsung official.

PhoneArena reported that it received more information leaks that point to the Galaxy S4 coming with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display.

Samsung fans will have to wait until it's unveiling to get the official list of specs.
