Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus Rumors, Specs: Alleged Flagship Version Looks Like A Bigger Galaxy S6 Edge

Samsung is doing everything in order to cater to more consumers across market groups around the world. While the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are already considered high-end devices, the Korean manufacturer could be releasing more top-notch devices in the near future.

According to a recent report by GSM Arena, a mysterious device surfaced and made its way to the rumor mill and was described as the rumored Galaxy S6 Plus. While there are no solid details yet about the device, several reports claim that it will be a bigger version of the Galaxy S6, but it would strangely come with a dual-edged display as showcased in an alleged leaked image.

Other rumored specs of the device include a 5.4 or 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in memory.

While the earlier version packs Samsung's own Exynos chipsets, this one would reportedly get the Snapdragon 808 chipset from Qualcomm. While that is not the latest SoC from the world-renowned chipmaker, that is certainly an improvement.

Dubbed as Project Zero 2 (the Galaxy S6 was dubbed as Project Zero prior to its release), the device will reportedly come with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, a 16MP primary shooter and a 5MP front camera.

As a leaked image shows, the Galaxy S6 Plus will allegedly come with the manufacturer's dual-edge curved display. The device may be announced at the IFA event in Berlin in September.
