Already out of the playoff race with a 27-46 record, the Pelicans have already rested their star player Anthony Davis for the rest of the season and it remains to be seen how the team will rebound from a disappointing season during the summer.

However, they still have a lot to look after as they are facing a hungry and determined Spurs team who are back to their usual dominating selves and are looking to get back to the top of the league.

At 62-12, the Spurs may have a difficult time chasing the Warriors for the top spot in the West but are hoping to finish strong in order to have momentum when the playoffs come.

Knowing that the Pelicans will be without Davis, the Spurs may also rest out some of their star players like Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge, but the Spurs are still a dangerous team with other role players like Patty Mills and Boris Diaw capable of taking over when given the chance.

So far in their season series, the Spurs lead 2-1 after winning their last two head to head games, and they are looking to finish off the series with another win to add to their impressive record.
