San Diego Chargers vs New Orleans Saints Live Stream: Watch Free Online NFL Sunday Night Football

San Diego Chargers vs New Orleans Saints is Sunday Night Football game of the week tonight. The game will start at 8.20 p.m. ET and will be televised live on NBC. It can also be watched online through free live stream (details below).

Sunday Night Football comes from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and will feature one of the most disappointing teams of the season to date. The Saints have failed miserably to live up to their hype and are just one of two winless teams in the NFL coming into week 5.

One of the main areas of the game that has seriously undermined the Saints in the early part of this season is their defense. They have let through a horrific 32.5 points on average per game, making them one of the worst defenses in the NFL.

If they are to gain a first win of the season today then they will have to sort out their defensive frailties, and especially they will have to sort out their pass defense. New Orleans boast the worst pass defense in the league - an unwanted accolade - allowing an amazing 463.3 yards in the air per game. It is simple - allowing any opposition to take that many pass yards each game will result in a loss. The Saints have to tighten up or they will be in for a long season.

The Chargers meanwhile have been running well, and will certainly be looking to take advantage of the gaping holes in the Saints' defense. Philip Rivers will have seen the Saints' pass defense record and will be licking his lips eagerly. He has moved the ball well in leading the Chargers to a 3-1 record coming into this game. Rivers has thrown for a 91.9 quarterback rating, and has been a major reason that the Chargers are in first place in the ADC West.

If the Saints do not pressure Rivers he will have ample time to choose his throws and could be potentially devastating to the Saints' defense. New Orleans have only racked up six sacks in fours games, and they will be hoping to press more than previously seen through the first four weeks of the season.

One shining light in the darkness of the Saints' season has been Drew Brees. He is again leading the NFL in passing yards, and has thrown an immense 1,350 yards so far; making it even more astonishing that New Orleans are yet to record a win.

However, the Saints' running game has been poor, and they currently rank just 26th in the NFL with an average of just 80.8 yards on the ground per game.
