Disney took this year's Comic-Con as the best time to announce its upcoming Disney Princess character through an exclusive film showing the first three minutes of the movie. Disney's "Moana" is all about an island princess from Maui surprisingly without a prince by her side. Auli'I Cravalho who voices Moana appeared as a surprise guest after the sneak peak. Moana also stars Dwayne Johnson as the voice of Maui - the demigod of the wind.

Coming in cosplay is a staple in any Comic-Con and this year is no exception. Fans came dressed in popular comic book characters such as the Green Goblin from Spider – Man, Deadpool, the Silver Surfer, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and more. However there are a few who thought they could stand out by arriving in completely unexpected outfits like a group of men dressed as the Golden Girls and people wearing colorful, cotton-candy like Troll wigs.

Upcoming DreamWorks Animation's "Trolls" was also featured in the event and the audience was treated with about 16 minutes footage of the film. Anna Kendrick who voiced Poppy and Justin Timberlake who voiced Branch received cheers from the audience. The two delightfully answered questions about the film and what it was like working together.

And who would miss Captain America's huge bronze statue at the convention? This statue is a tribute in New York but debuted at San Diego. After the convention, it will be placed in its peaceful home in Prospect Park, Brooklyn.
