Sarah Jakes Roberts is gearing up to deliver her first child with her husband, Pastor Touré Roberts, but she is not forgetting about the women who suffer great losses while pregnant.

"The moment a woman learns she's pregnant there are feelings so overwhelming it's difficult to fully put in words. From wondering if she can handle the responsibility to praying her body can withstand the process of development," Jakes Roberts wrote on Instagram. "The statistics of potential loss or miscarriage are never far from your mind. The potential for rare disease or deformities are all realities that one must consider as she awaits for tests and prays to feel her baby kick."

Jakes Roberts, the 27-year-old author, motivational speaker and daughter of Bishop T.D. Jakes, is in her last trimester of pregnancy. Her husband is the senior pastor of One Church International in Hollywood, California. Although the couple has expressed excitement about their upcoming bundle of joy, Jakes Roberts has also mourned with dozens of women who miscarried or lost their children.

"I've witnessed as their bumps turned into angels they hold in their arms. I've prayed as some had to deal with their angels returning to heaven," she wrote. "Through all the aches and pain that come with pregnancy I have never let the fact that God has entrusted me with the miracle of producing life to escape me."

However, the preacher's wife and daughter revealed that women can still find hope in the midst of their pain.
"Whether you're still trying to conceive, dealing with your baby becoming your guardian angel, or preparing to develop and deliver the life inside of you I hope you never lose sight of your strength. Your heart is your first womb protect it at all cost," her Instagram post reads. "Search for hope when fear tries to rear its head. Don't allow your losses to become permanent."

Jakes Roberts said she would pray that women identifying with those struggles would find peace, while encouraging them to be strong.

"If you search long enough every loss can become a win. Don't resent your struggle, see it as a reflection of the faith God has in you," she wrote. "You're an incredibly strong woman.. I'll be praying you never forget you've got what it takes to survive."

The Roberts married in November 2014, which marked a second marriage for each.
Sarah brought her two children into the union while Touré's brought three from a previous relationship.

"For Touré and I, having a child together is the organic overflow of the love that we have been so blessed to share. When I initially found out that I was pregnant, I was overwhelmed with surprise, excitement, and joy," she told ESSENCE during an August interview. "Each of our children offer a special flavor to the blend that is our family. While we are ecstatic to know that our baby will represent a piece of each of us, we look forward to the unique individuality and impact our new addition is sure to bring to our family."
