Del Negro and Walger will join previously announced new cast members Josh Randall, Mary McCormack, and Portia de Rossi.

Meanwhile, Kerry Washington recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly and she talked about her character Olivia's ongoing love triangle with President Fitz and Jake. It can be recalled that in the season 3 finale of "Scandal," Olivia accepted an invitation from Jake to get away, and they were on a plane headed to an undisclosed location. She was also ignoring phone calls from the White House. Does this mean that season 4 will see more of Olivia and Jake together?

"I'm not Team Jake or Team Fitz," Washington previously told Entertainment Weekly. "I'm team Shonda [Rhimes] so whatever Shonda writes I'm game. But I also, I just want Olivia to be able to find happiness and peace and love."

"You know there are people that say Jake can't do that 'cause he's been violent towards her. Other people say that's not true. It's really complicated. But I'm not sure. I'm not sure if she should be with one of them or none of them or maybe there's a third guy in the mix. Why not!" said the actress.

In other news, show creator Shonda Rhimes tweeted a photo of a script which revealed the title of the premiere episode of season four. The episode is entitled "Randy." TVLine speculates that the title could allude to the Gladiators Olivia left behind in Washington, or it could possibly refer to any of the new characters in the show.

"Scandal" Season 4 will premiere on Sept. 25 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
