'Scandal' Season 4 News, Spoilers: A "Whirlwind of Shock and Awe' in Finale, Says Kerry Washington

This week's showing of the hit political TV drama series "Scandal" Season 4 will see Olivia (Kerry Washington) and her gladiators finally making the big move to take down B613 along with its leader and her father, Rowan Pope (Joe Morton). However, as expected, this won't be an easy task for them to undertake and this could also mean that one of them could be in danger.

Lead cast member Washington recently informed the people of Entertainment Weekly about what fans should expect in the season's finale episode titled "You Can't Take Command."

"This season's finale is full of twists and turns that I never saw coming," the actress told Entertainment Weekly. "No one is safe. No one is immune. It's an old school Scandal whirlwind of shock and awe."

Another cast member, Joshua Molina, went on to tease that going against the powerful B613 could really mean for their characters to tread on a path that even themselves could've even not imagined.

"In the finale many of the characters are put to difficult decisions, and very important decisions, and decisions that have huge ramifications," he said.

"There will be some casualties of one type or another," Molina warns.

The Futon Critic meanwhile shared the synopsis for the finale episode and it reads:

"Everything comes to a head in the shocking season finale when Olivia and the team finally make some big moves to take down Command, and Mellie's fate is sealed as the election results are announced."

"Scandal" Season 4 Finale airs this Thursday, May 14, at 9 p.m. on ABC.
