'Scandal' Season 4 News, Spoilers: Nobody's Safe in 'Where The Sun Don't Shine'

The chilling yet explosive winter finale of the hit political thriller TV series "Scandal" Season 4 is right around the corner and fans are already hankering to know what to expect in the coming episode titled "Where The Sun Don't Shine."

According to spoiler reports, this episode will put Olivia Pope's (Kerry Washington) life in danger. This is because her father, Rowan Pope (Joe Morton) is now going full-blast against her following the events on "The Last Supper."

As found out, Olivia, Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) and Jake Ballard (Scott Foley) are brewing a plan to take down Papa Pope. The SWAT Team sent to arrest Rowan ended up dead, plus the secret B613 files were stolen.

Tonight, yet another family member will threaten to destroy the crisis manager.

As fans recall, Pope's mother, Maya Lewis (Khandi Alexander) is now out of prison. She was incarcerated as one of the key facilitators of a terrorist group. Will this episode be about daughter going against her parents?

Meanwhile, an official synopsis was posted on The Futon Critic.

"Command is always two steps ahead and everyone in Olivia's life is in danger. Meanwhile, Cyrus is forced to face the consequences of his behavior, and Huck and Quinn finally figure out just what Elizabeth North has been planning, but they might be too late to stop it," it reads.

Promo photos are also circulating and it appears that this winter finale will be as good as any Scandal finale. It showed Jake coming to aid Olivia by teaching her how to fire a gun.

The trailer even revealed Olivia wanting to be the one responsible to end the entire crisis.

"I want the kill shot," she said.

"Scandal" Season 4, episode 9 airs Thursday, Nov. 20 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
