'Scandal' Season 4 News, Spoilers: Who Actually Won the Auction for Olivia Pope?

Last week's showing of the hit political thriller TV drama series "Scandal" Season 4 reveals that Iran has won the bidding to get Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington). The new promo video for tonight's segment titled "No More Blood" meanwhile showed a "surprised" look from Liv as she was about to be handed to the winner.

Fans saw just how desperate the White House has become to get their hands on the crisis management personnel. Her Gladiators have to even call the help of an unlikely person, Maya Pope, to get access to the shady auction activity.

Unfortunately, their efforts availed them nothing as the bidding game was abruptly closed as it was announced that Pope was already purchased by some private figure in Iran.

The trailer, which was recently released by the network, hints that something big is coming out in this episode. It shows Olivia being driven to a secret location and then was dragged out from the car to reveal a deserted area. When the cover bag was pulled off from her head, Liv appears rather surprised than afraid when she saw the person to which she is about to be handed over.

Speculations then arise indicating the possibility of a third party involved in the buyout. But who could this be?

A report from Enstarz.com said that it could be none other than Liv's father, Rowan Pope (Joe Morton) attempting to save his daughter from the dire situation.

"While Liv and her dad didn't end things on the best terms, Papa Pope was command of BG13 therefore he sees and knows all things," the site said.

Perhaps everything will be revealed when "Scandal" Season 4 airs this Thursday, Feb. 19, at 9 p.m. on ABC.
