'Scandal' Season 6: Abby's Traitorous Act to be Explained

The ABC drama series "Scandal" recently aired its seventh episode for its sixth season, and true to its title, a traitor was revealed at the end of the show. However, the series also indicates that she may not be the only one this season.

The last episode, which was titled "A Traitor Among Us," showed Olivia (Kerry Washington) and company seeking out Rowan (Joe Morton) to avenge the assassination of the President. Rowan, however, announced that he did it by order of the Shadowy Organization. After learning from Rowan that somebody close to Olivia is watching her, placing her life in danger, Huck (Guillermo Diaz) finds himself acquiring a new mission.

By tracing call records, it was discovered that Quinn (Katie Lowes) had been casually helping hide Jennifer Fields (Chelsea Kurtz) by working with Jake (Scott Foley). Huck tracked her down and saw Quinn with Jake in a hotel room and pulled a gun at them. Quinn pulled a gun back at Huck too, but the two eventually came into an agreement to help each other track down Sandra, who is actually already dead.

Nearing the end of the episode, Huck realizes that maybe Meg (Phoebe Neidhardt) is the mole since she had previously asked him if he could arrange for her to meet Olivia (to know more about Jennifer's supposed death).

This was more or less confirmed by Meg some time later when she announced that she was a member of the Shadowy Organization and shot both Huck and Jennifer. Worse, it seems that Abby (Darby Stanchfield) is behind Meg's mission, as she seemed pleased with the latter's progress report by the end of the episode.

Fans are now asking whether or not it is true that Huck is really dead and wondering what is up with Abby. Apparently, this will be tackled by "Scandal's" episode 8 this week where the spotlight will be on her, as several scenes that happened before the events of episode 7 are going to be rediscovered. These include the events prior to election night, which will be told through Abby's perspective this time around.

"Scandal" season 6 episode 8 will air Thursday, March 30, at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
