Scarlet Witch Still Not Taking Sides, Might Romance The Vision In 'Captain America: Civil War'

There are rumours that "Captain America: Civil War" will feature a romantic connection between the Scarlet Witch and The Vision. It has not been revealed whose side the Scarlet Witch is on.

Elizabeth Olsen plays Wanda Maximoff while Paul Bettany is The Vision. It was hinted at the end of "Avengers: Age of Ultron," that there could be a possible relationship between the two. This would also reflect the events in the comic book where Scarlet Witch and The Vision are married.

In an interview with USA Today, when asked about their possible romance that was teased at the end of 'Avengers: Age of Ultron,' Olsen said she would love to romance The Vision, possibly also have a standalone movie featuring the two.

She said, "It has to be House of M. That's still all I want to do, I don't care. I would just love to have make-believe children and have him play along with it and then just decide to destroy all mutants. That would be so fun but obviously that would never happen."

Fans are eager to know whose side she will take in the Civil War. Will it be Iron Man or Captain America for the Scarlet Witch? She has not been depicted in the Marvel poster for the opposing teams of superheroes in Civil War.

For Olsen, this is the fun part. The Avengers fear and dread her. She said in the same USA Today interview, "The reason why I love Scarlet Witch so much is that she can play both sides, and I think that's just a fun place to be as an actor."

When asked about her future role as the Scarlet Witch and alter ego Wanda Maximoff, she said that she is happy that Wanda is finally "coming into her own." She is getting a hang of her own abilities and how to use them. She likes that her character wasn't in the promo photos for the upcoming Captain America movie. This way, she can surprise the audience by being the wild card of the group.
