Scarlett Johansson and Mystery Man in NYC, Plans to Move to London?

New pictures of Scarlet Johansson walking the streets of New York City have revealed that the actress may have a new boyfriend.

The 27-year-old actress stepped out with the new mystery man Saturday, as the couple appeared to be returning from a gym workout. Johansen has performed in films like "Lost in Translation" and "The Prestige".

Reports state that the actress, who recently split with boyfriend Sean Penn after rumors spread that he did not want to be tied down, was seen walking New York City holding an older man's hand.

Confirmation of who the man might be has not been made, and Johansson is not likely to volunteer the information. The actress told the Independent, an Irish newspaper, in 2008 that she preferred to not reveal details about her personal life. "It's nice to have everybody not know your business," she said.

The Daily Mail however, has reported that the actress is anxious to escape her ex-husband Reynolds. Although the couple has gone on occasional dinner dates since the divorce, which became official in 2011, Reynolds is now dating "Gossip Girls" star Blake Lively. "Scarlett doesn't want any awkward run-ins with Ryan and Blake in New York," a friend of Johansson's told the Daily Mail.

Last May Reynolds still appeared upset about the divorce, when he talked to Details magazine. "Anyone who gets divorced goes through a lot of pain...I don't think I want to get married again," Reynolds said.

The friend also told Daily mail that Johansson was currently filming a movie in Scotland called "Under the Skin" and suggested that the actress would be happy to settle somewhere near there. "When Scarlett is in New York she keeps a low profile. She wants to give the whole party scene a miss," the friend said.

"She adores British men and would love a place and a man in London," the source confirmed. However a spokesperson for Johansson has said that Johnasson will not move to London. "She is not making London her permanent base," the spokesperson said.
