'Scorpion' Season 4 Spoilers: Team Gets Taken Hostage at Tech Convention

When "Scorpion" season 4 returns next week for its fifth episode, the team is going to realize that no place is ever safe when bad guys are determined to wreak havoc.

Team Scorpion, composed of Walter O'Brien (Elyes Gabel), Paige Dineen (Katharine McPhee), Sylvester Dodd (Ari Stidham), Toby Curtis (Eddie Kaye Thomas), and Happy Quinn (Jadyn Wong), will find themselves in the middle of drama in a very unlikely place.

According to the synopsis for episode 5 titled "Sci Hard," Team Scorpion will be taken hostage by a hacker group "attempting a virtual heist" during a tech convention.

CBS has not given any more details regarding the episode, but it will be interesting to see how the team will deal with the situation, given that it is something completely unexpected.

What are they going to do to get themselves, and their fellow geeks, out of it? What do their captors want in exchange for the hostages' freedom? Does the attack have something to do with Team Scorpion directly, or are they just at the wrong place and at the wrong time?

Fans will soon find out when episode 5 is released next Monday.

Meanwhile, season 4 episode 4 titled "Nuke Kids on the Block" just aired. For this week's installment, Happy and Paige went on a mission to decommission an old nuclear missile, despite going through some tension between them.

Although shutting down a missile was not much of a challenge for the team, it was not until they were exposed to toxic gas where the problem turned for the worse, and it seemed like people were about to die. Nevertheless, they were still able to succeed with the mission despite all the drama that happened in between.

But what made the episode quite shocking was during the last minutes, where Happy told Toby that she wanted to have a child with him.

"Scorpion" season 4 airs Mondays at 10 p.m. EDT on CBS.
