Sean Kingston inadvertently startled fans Thursday night when his name suddenly appeared on Twitter's Trend list of most discussed topics, prompting some to wonder if the 21-year-old singer had died.

Kingston, who performed Thursday at the Latin Grammys in Las Vegas, told reporters that he has bounced back from the May 29 Jet Ski accident, according to The Associated Press.

The singer, who performed the song "Fever" with Wisin y Yandel, a Puerto Rican group, said he felt blessed to be back on stage. He also has no fear abut getting back in the water next time he gets the chance, according to the AP.

After his performance, Kingston uploaded a photo of himself holding a Grammy award to Instagram (see below). He described the photo on his Twitter account as "Every Musician's Dream!!"

Kingston also tweeted about being back on stage: "Just tore the stage down with my bro's @wisinyyandel at the 2011 Latin Grammy Awards!!.. It was amazing I had a great time GOD IS GOOD."

Fans who saw "Sean Kingston" trending on the social networking website apparently assumed the worst.
