Serena Williams is furious after learning that one of her friends leaked her debut rap song without her permission, and recently referred to the incident as "back-stabbing."

Late last year, Williams was rumored to be working in a music studio with famed producer DJ Clue along with a record label owned by Minnesota Vikings star, Bryant McKinnie.  It is thought that was around the same time that she reportedly created the song, although she had no immediate plans to release it, according to TMZ.

"Well, I was in the studio with friends and I wanted to do something and so they said – do this and it was for me. The next thing I know - that was one or two years ago and then I read online that I was a rapper and so my back-stabbing friends did that to me and so if I see them, I will act like a rapper - if you can get my drift," Williams said during a press conference at the Italian Open earlier this week.

The 30-year-old references her wealth, tennis, and even her famous sister Venus in the leaked track.

"I make a lot of money but that ain't yo business/you can tell the people I said this/I ball hard no tennis racket/ I can't see these haters through my Gucci glasses/ I make hits like batting practice/ They be like Serena is you really rapping," Williams raps in the song.

"I win I really mean it/ Swag out this world you should call me Venus/That's my sis, my name is Serena/ On the court I serve them up, no subpoena...That's me, thanks for listenin'/schooling all these rappers, they should pay tuition," she adds.

The fury over her song leak follows reports that Williams has been left heartbroken after facing failed relationships with rappers Common and Drake.

"I have given up on dating. It just hasn't worked out well for me," Williams recently told Celebuzz.

"I'm a really emotional person. I give my all and everything. I do make mistakes - like every human does - but the last relationship just was too much of a heartbreak for me. I just can't go through that anymore. It was hard," she added.
