'Shameless' Season 8: Fiona to Use Monica's Meth for New Business?

Fiona (Emmy Rossum) may end up using her mother's stash of crystal meth to finance her new business in the new season of "Shameless."

According to iTech Post, there is a chance that the eldest Gallagher child will not stay true to her words on not touching any of Monica's drugs. Last season, when it was revealed that Monica was in possession of several bags of crystal meth, the Gallagher household was in an uproar. Frank (William H. Macy) wanted to sell them to make money. According to him, they would net hundreds of dollars for the stash. Fiona was adamant that they flush the drugs down the toilet. When the others were sleeping, she hurriedly got two bags of the meth and put them inside Monica's coffin.

The fate of the other sacks of meth remains unclear. It is possible that Fiona could be keeping them safe somewhere. The temptation of selling them must be getting to her nerves.

Fiona recently bought a building because she wanted to try her luck in real estate. She sold the laundromat she used to have after realizing that the business was not for her. She has a little cash, but she needs more to finance her new venture. Selling the meth would be taking the easy way out. Although Fiona has tried to maintain her reputation of being a goody-two-shoes, she is bound to crack soon. After all, she is her father's daughter.

Recent spoilers predict that Frank will soon get over Monica's death and return to his old ways. He was devastated when it was revealed that his one true love died due to brain damage. The two even wanted to get married before she expired. He told the kids that he has always loved their mother.

However, some say that Frank may be sad now, but it will not be long until he becomes involved with another scheme. He will want to get his hands on his share of crystal meth and use the money as he pleases.

"Shameless" is expected to return to Showtime in 2017.
