Shane & Shane's 'Clean' Makes Successful Debut

Singer/songwriter duo Shane & Shane’s fourth studio release, Clean, debuted this week at No. 2 on the Christian SoundScan sales chart with sales of over 9,100 units. The project also entered at No. 5 on the Overall Christian sales chart and No. 122 on the Billboard Top 200.

“We’re absolutely floored at the response to this record,” said Barnard. “Writing these songs and making this record was an exciting process. We didn’t try to make a record that ‘fits a particular audience, but just worked to make a record that was an accurate reflection of who we are as people and artists. We’re thankful for the support of our fans, old and new.”

"Although the debut success of Clean may turn a few industry heads, it really comes as no surprise to anyone who has spent any time around Shane & Shane," said Inpop Records general manager, Steve Ford. "Their musical relevance, honesty and passion for pursuing Christ is contagious, and the response to this record is just more evidence of that."
