Sheen Loch Ness Monster Hunt: Actor Rents Boat to Get Better View (PHOTO)

Charlie Sheen was on his best behavior last week during his four-day mission to hunt down the Loch Ness monster in Scotland.

Known for his outrageous behavior and bad drinking habits, Sheen is not always a welcome visitor at hotels. But during his most recent visit to Scotland, the actor was apparently on his best behavior. The actor made a four-day trip to the country last week with a group of friends. While there, the group attempted to hunt down the Loch Ness monster.

"All I can say is that Mr. Sheen and his party were perfect guests and thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Scotland and Loch Ness," Historic Aldourie Castle's general manager Lavinia Turner said according to the Daily News.

Sheen used his jet to make the visit, TMZ reported. The publication also added that the actor and his group of friends rented out a boat to get a closer look of the monster. Their only weapon to hunt the monster down however, turned out to be a bottle of Scotch, a source claimed.

The trip resulted in a bust however and Sheen's group left the next day without catching even a glimpse of the sea creature.

"They had a wonderful and relaxing time but unfortunately didn't see any sign of Nessie, although I'm sure they'll be back in the future to try again," Turner said.

Sheen also posted a picture of his self and his friend on his Twitter account. In the photo, the actor is wearing a very serious looking metal hat and tinted pair of glasses. He is seated next to his longtime friend, Brian Pekk.

"Once again MIT grant sanctioned archeologists Pekk & Sheen, rig battle gear for tonight's sortie on the Loch Ness," Sheen wrote July 4th in the caption of the photograph.
