Sherri Saum Twins Due in May - 'Fosters' Star Planning on 'Chaos' When They Arrive

"The Fosters" star Sherri Saum and husband Kamar de los Reyes are expecting a set of twins in May. These will be the first children for the couple married since 2007.

"The actress and husband Kamar de los Reyes are so thrilled to welcome the little ones into the world in early summer," a statement from Saum's representative told Us Weekly in December.

Yesterday, "Fosters" co-star Danny Nucci revealed that Saum was having two boys and due in May, which came as a bit of a surprise to Saum, who had not yet revealed the sexes. However, she took it all in good stride and later released a photo of herself with two blue bows stuck to her stomach, with the caption "Boy, oh Boy!"

"And Danny just outed the genders of the babies so thank you for that," Saum jokingly told People magazine during the Television Critics Association press tour. "It's a good place to out it though – they're boys!"

When asked if the couple had any names picked out yet, Saum explained that she and de los Reyes are "kicking around some names" but will not spill the beans before the babies arrive. "I just want to meet them first and see if the ones we're thinking of match them. We'll see!"

Saum currently stars on ABC Family's hit series "The Fosters," in which she plays a lesbian married to her partner and raising several children, both biological and adopted. The show, produced by Jennifer Lopez, has received rave reviews from fans and has a huge following. There's no word yet whether Saum's pregnancy will be written into the series or whether the set director will have a lot of work to do in hiding her pregnancy.

"Chaos will reign," Saum predicted once the twins arrive. "We're just going to take each day as it comes. They're my first children, so I'm not going to know anything different. It's going to be easy and breezy."
