'Sister Wives' Season 7 Spoilers: Brown Family Goes to Therapy, Meri and Mariah Not in Good Terms

American reality television show "Sister Wives" is set to return to the small screen soon for its seventh season. According to a report by International Business Times, the Brown family will have a lot in their plate this coming new season especially with how things left off in season 6.

For starters, the whole family went through a shocking moment after learning that Meri had an online relationship. But it did not end well as it turned out to be a catfishing scandal. The man that Meri was involved in online was actually a woman. The revelation shook the whole family and was then followed by other emotional issues in the family. That is why in season 7, fans will be seeing Kody, Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn go through counselling.

As noted in the source, the first trailer released showed a scene wherein Kody admitted that he and Meri struggled for a very long time. Meri is then heard saying to Kody that there were times that she was upset with him. There were also cut scenes of Janelle and Christine talking.

Aside from the family therapy that is going on, Design and Trend detailed that Meri and her daughter Mariah are going to share to the fans the real issue that is going on between them. Mariah said in the trailer that she and her mother were not in good terms. As to what is the rift all about, fans will have to stay tuned to find out.

Not everything is sad and gloomy in the family though as season 7 will also cover the birth of the newest member in the family, Ariella, the daughter of Robyn and Kody. The promo trailer teased a scene of Robyn giving birth at their home. A wedding is also coming up in the family as Maddie, Christine's daughter, got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Caleb Brush.

According to Breathe Cast, "Sister Wives" was rumored to be cancelled. Fortunately, TLC has now announced that it's getting a renewal and it will premiere on Sunday, May 8.
