'Sister Wives' Season 8 to be Cancelled? Kody Brown Wants 2 New Wives

"Sister Wives" season 8 is reported to be in the verge of being cancelled. The series, which is about a polygamous family, is in jeopardy with TLC due to Kody Brown's inappropriate plan on adding two new marriages.

The show has ended season 7 last month, and the producers are still in discussion on whether or not a season 8 will follow. They are still finalizing on an eighth season since they need to look into Kody's recent behavior in the whole show.

It has been reported that TLC is not quite happy with Kody wanting to add two new marriages in the series. These two new women are said to be younger than the other wives that already exist. Previously, it has been reported that Kody wants to let the old wives stay out of the house and replace them with the new ones. However, Kody wants to keep all wives all in one roof.

Two New Wives

Kendra Pollard said in a recent report that Kody does not want to have to deal anymore with his recent four wives. She added that these four wives have not been supportive to Kody that he finally set up an ultimate revenge. In the same report, both Kendra and Robyn are not sure anymore if this is pure love for Kody or is it just for TV purposes.

Amber, who is a family friend, and Mindy Jessop, who happens to be Robyn's step-niece, are the two new women whom the patriarch of the show wants to wed. Both women are well known to the entire family. In fact, Mindy has been a babysitter to the Brown children.

A text message from Robyn to Kendra was revealed, saying; "It's freaky, and Kody swore that he would never do this . . . Kody's . . . on the wife topic again. I just refuse to go there . . . I am so frustrated,"

Reports also noted that if Kody decides to go ahead with his infatuation with Mindy, then it will be a deal breaker for TLC. However, this is not the only reason why the show is in the verge of being cancelled. In fact, Meri's catfish scandal has been a problem to the network.

The show has moved away from the network's original premise that it will show a successful polygamous family, thus making the show's eighth season on the edge of being cancelled.
