RISE was recently the No. 1 selling Christian album seven weeks after being released.

Skillet just finished the Carnival of Madness tour with Shinedown, Papa Roach, and In This Moment. The tour began in August and kicked off to sold out shows in South America.

"I'm very passionate about bringing it every night," singer John Cooper said in a statement released by the band. "People paid to get there, and that's how you make fans. I do think that philosophy is part of that million records that we sold."

The band will head overseas for a 21-day tour with Nickelback later this month. Included in the stops will be shows in Milan, Paris, Vienna, London, and more. In December the band will return to Russia for a short headline run.

They previously played Russia's Black Sea and played to over 35,000 fans at the Kubana Festival with System of a Down.

Skillet also appeared at the 50th anniversary of the "I Have A Dream" speech on August 28 Times Square to stand in support and honor of Dr. King's vision of a world free of racism and full of equality.
