The Futon Critic meanwhile posted a synopsis for the upcoming episode titled "What Lies Beneath." According to the summary provided, the duo will encounter Thomas Jefferson (guest star Steven Weber) during their quest of vanquishing the evil. Will he be for them or against them?

Meanwhile, fans of the show have already been wondering if they will see yet another serving of the FOX series. Although it still wasn't confirmed if there'd be a follow-up season or not, one cast member shed some light about the Season 3 rumors revealing that the network has "been very secretive" about their plans.
Actress Katia Winter, who plays Katrina Crane, informed the publication that filming for season 2 is already done.
When asked about the possibility of another chapter, though, she said, "I don't know."
"They've been very secretive. I think they're making a lot of changes, holding out on announcing it until they know exactly what to do with Season 3," she told IndieWire.
As for her character's role in the progression of the story, Winter didn't reveal whether or not Katrina will be featured in the next season.
"We talked about it a lot, actually, for the past few months. It depends on what direction they want to go in. Yes and no, I think. If we can all agree on specific paths, then yes, and if not, then it might be time to leave them to themselves. I don't know yet. We'll see," the actress teased.
For the meantime, "Sleepy Hollow" Season 2 episode 16 airs this Monday, Feb. 9, at 9 p.m. on FOX.
