'Sleepy Hollow' Season 2 News, Spoilers: A Soldier Returns in 'And The Abyss Gazes Back'

The new sixth episode of the hit supernatural drama television series "Sleepy Hollow" entitled "And the Abyss Gazes Back," will see the return of a soldier from war. But Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) smelt something is not right about the behavior of the veteran.

A short synopsis for the upcoming episode was provided by an official press release.

"Sheriff Corbin's son will return to Sleepy Hollow after serving in combat, but his unusual behavior will make Abbie and Ichabod suspicious. Ichabod and Abbie are going to seek a distraction by going to a local pub where they find Joe Corbin, son of the late Sheriff. Being a recently discharged veteran, Joe will seem a far cry from the boy Abbie used to babysit for," it reads.

Another thing coming for Sleepy fans, Ichabod will be seen trying some yoga poses with partner Abbie. However, as the recently-released trailer revealed, yoga doesn't seem to fit with resurrected professor's taste.

They went to a bar to grab some drinks and Ichabod made a toast:

"To George Washington, commander of the American Armies, who, like Joshua of old, commanded the sun and moon to stand still and both obeyed," Ichabod declared.

"Namaste," Abbie said in reply.

Everything went well for them until they noticed someone causing a little bit of trouble at the bar. The lady sheriff intervenes and suddenly realized she was standing before a person whom she knew and never had seen for a long time, Josh Corbin.

"Sleepy Hollow" Season 2, Episode 6 titled "And The Abyss Gazes Back" airs this Monday, Oct. 27, at 9 p.m. on FOX.
