Song Joong-Ki reveals that in a fan meet that he is willing to wait for the girl that he loves in a fan meet. "Descendants of the Sun" soon to win drama award.

The Song-Song phenomenon continues despite the farewell of "Descendants of the Sun" on screen. Song Joong-Ki has recently revealed something that will surely delight their fans. He said that shooting love scenes with on-screen partner Song Hye Kyo is much better than shooting action scenes for the Korean drama series.

Fan meeting in Thailand

Joong-Ki has recently met with his fans in an event in Thailand. The fans were so excited to see the Korean actor and were also happy that he answered most of their questions. During his interview the actor admitted that unlike his "Descendants of the Sun" character Captain Yoo Shi Jin, he really was not that romantic.

They were also too eager to ask about his relationship with Song Kye Hyo. When they asked him about this, he said that he does not want to rush into a relationship.

The fans were curious about his response that they further grilled him for a better answer. They asked him if he would continue asking a girl who keeps on rejecting him. Joong-Ki made his fans giggle by saying that he would wait for the girl whom he is deeply in love with. He was quick to add that he would "always be waiting".

Finally, the meet-and-greet ended with a question about his scenes with Song Hye Kyo. A fan asked what it felt like to do action and love scenes for the series. Joong-Ki answered that he finds doing love scenes easier. He said that it was easier, because he was doing the scenes with Hye Kyo.

"Descendants of the Sun" sure to win Hallyu Award

According to reports, "Descendants of the Sun" has exceeded the expectations of its producers. The moment it aired in KBS2 on February 24 this year, the series and the characters became household names.

It was not just a hit in South Korea, but it was also able to capture the attention of viewers from the U.S., China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan, Philippines, and Indonesia. The series became a phenomenon and it even boosted the country's tourism and economy. It has also paved the way for the rumored off-screen romance between Song Joong-Ki and Song Hye Kyo.

"Descendants of the Sun" was also reported to be nominated for a Hallyu Award. Fans expect that the drama series will bag the Best in Drama Award in the Seoul International Drama Awards set on September 8, at the KBS Hall.

Chief Executive Officer of New Entertainment and producer of "Descendants of the Sun", Kim Woo Taek, shared in an interview that he was very thankful to the cast and the crew. He specifically thanked and appreciated the performance of the two main stars Song Joong-Ki and Song Hye Kyo for accepting their respective roles.
