Sonicflood Taps Mark Byrd For Assistance on Upcoming March Release of Cry Holy

Continuing to build on the momentum of their debut INO release, resonate, Grammy-nominated and gold-selling band, SONICFLOOD, will release Cry Holy in March of 2003. Enlisting the production and songwriting talents of Marc Byrd (“God of Wonders,” City on A Hill: Sing Alleluia) to create an album that showcases a polished, contemporary pop sound. With Cry Holy, the band confirms why they continue to define the term ‘modern worship.’

“It was a privilege for me to be a part of this record. I was encouraged by the guys' openness to explore new ideas musically and stretch themselves creatively. We were able to capture the heart and vision of the band on this recording.” Says Byrd, “I was inspired by their focus on the holiness of God and their message of worship. I'm extremely excited about this record. Spiritually, musically, and creatively this record is already a success to me."

In 2002, resonate shipped over 200,000 units and generated a top 10 hit with the title cut. The group was also one of the top Christian touring acts of the year, selling out concerts in many major markets.

“It is a sincere privilege for INO to be working with such a gifted group of men. We are looking forward to releasing this record, which showcases SONICFLOOD at their best,” says Jeff Moseley, president of INO Records. “We are quite proud of these guys and all they have accomplished and are fully confident that the future holds further blessings for them.”

The band recently wrapped up their fall tour where they worked in conjunction with World Vision to encourage sponsorships of children in need overseas. They will also continue their long-time work with World Vision on their Cry Holy tour in 2003. SONICFLOOD is one of the organization’s top artists, having helped to secure over 5000 sponsorships during the course of their relationship.
