'Sons of Anarchy' Season 7 Release Date 2014: Club's Demise Coming in Final Season

FX's flagship show "Sons of Anarchy" will premiere its new and final season on Sept. 9. The promotional trailer that has been recently released showed a possibility of a dark and menacing end for Jax Teller and his club.

Part of the one-minute footage was already shown at the 2014 SD Comic-Con where the incarcerated Jax was seen beating up a fellow prisoner – intercut with other quick peeks for the upcoming season's offerings.

The latest full trailer, however, further revealed Charlie Hunnam's character in the outside world on his signature bike with a mission to avenge and protect of what's left for him.

"I already lost the woman I love; I'm not going to lose my club," he said.

Show's creator Kurt Sutter revealed the changed Jax treading a much darker path of destruction which will likely end in blood.

"This season will be the most proactive for Jax," Stutter said in an interview. "He's driven, with a singular purpose. Rather than being a reactor to chaos, he will be the inciter. It's almost like a writing a brand new character," he added.

We can also see Juice (Theo Rossi) in fear of losing his life after helping Gemma (Katey Sagal) in the previous season to cover up Tara's (Maggie Siff) murder. Shown also is the club leader shooting someone and a scene where a group of people are burying an unidentified person.

FX's official list of Season 7's first 6 episodes are below.

  • Ep. 1 (Sept.9) – "Black Widower" – premiere episode that is reported to run for one hour and forty-five minutes. It will pick up from Tara's death.
  • Ep. 2 (Sept. 14) – "Toil and Till" – speculations pointed out that this episode would be dealing about SAMCRO's coercion with other clubs or Jackson making plans for his revenge.
  • Ep. 3 (Sept. 23) – "Playing with Monsters" – This is rumored to be where new cast additions Marilyn Manson and Courtney Love will appear.
  • Ep. 4 (Sept. 30) – "Poor Little Lambs" – leaks said that this will talk about how Abel and Thomas deal with their mom's death.
  • Ep. 5 (Oct. 7) – "Some Strange Eruption" -- it is rumored that there will be some serious revelations here, possibly Jax discovering his mother's involvement with Tara's murder.
  • Ep. 6 (Oct. 14) – "Smoke 'em if You Got 'em" – the site speculated that this will be where Lea Michele and Gemma meet.
