If the rumors could be true, then the new Xperia Z4 would bear the same resemblance with its predecessor, the Xperia Z3.

PhoneArena, meanwhile put in another report which further solidify the claims by citing a separate source. They said that the person in the know was there during an internal presentation by Sony which shows the new Sony Xperia Z series iteration having a 5.2-inch display.

Besides from the display dimension, no information was given about the exact resolution.

Both mentioned sources, as pointed out by Techradar, has conflicting accounts when it comes to the chipset of the next Xperia Z.

The first leak said that the Z4 will have Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chipset. On the other hand, the other claimant said it will instead have a Snapdragon 805 processor.

"Due to rumoured delays with the Snapdragon 810, and the likelihood of Sony showing the Z4 off at CES next month, at the moment it looks like the Snapdragon 805 is the safest bet, which is still an upgrade over the Xperia Z3's Snapdragon 801 chipset," the website expressed their speculations.

PhoneArena, meanwhile mentioned that fans should expect official updates on Xperia Z4 by the following months.
